Amtek Precision Engineers is one of the UK's foremost mould toolmakers for high volume, multi-cavity injection moulds and complex CNC machined components. We know that high quality, competitive pricing, peace of mind and short lead times are likely to be key requirements of yours and with this in mind we recently invested over £600K in a 5-axis MAZAK INTEGREX 200-IV mill / turn centre, A MIKRON HSM 400 and a full CNC CMM Global Classic 555.
Our state of the art CNC machining centre allows us to also manufacture a diverse range of components to varying degrees of complexity and tolerances for high precision industries such as the aerospace, medical and pharmaceutical and oil and gas exploration sectors.
Recent News
As part of our commitment to R&D, we recently hosted a visit from three key representatives from Yamazaki Mazak researching improvements in the process of CNC grinding. Our Integrex 200-IV S CNC multi-tasking machine was the basis for their latest project. Read more about it here!
"We expected the outer tools to cycle at 36 seconds due to the thickness of the moulding and the inner tools to cycle at 10 seconds but instead Amtek's moulds achieved 30 seconds and 8 seconds, respectively.
